History & Stability
For two generations, Bosch Pest Control, Inc. has been Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois' premiere pest control service provider. In 1949, Robert Bosch opened the business in Muscatine, Iowa. In 1977, Mr. Bosch's son-in-law, Michael Rudolph, started working in the company. When Mr. Bosch retired in 1987, Michael took over the business. Mike has brought the business to the cutting edge of technology and has seen that all of his technicians are trained and state certified. With over 55 years in the business, this family-owned business has the stability and dependability our customers count on and deserve. In 2008 Mike and Amy sold the business to long-time employees, Jeff Cochran and LaMar Miller.
Qualified
All of our technicians are certified by the State of Iowa, receive six hours of continuing education each year and many are certified by the State of Illinois as well. Bosch Pest Control is a long-time member of both the National and Iowa Pest Control Associations. Several employees have recently completed Purdue University’s pest management course as well.
Environmentally Sensitive
In today's world, it is unacceptable to merely get the job done at any cost. Our society demands that services be performed with integrity and in a manner that minimizes its impact on the environment. Bosch Pest Control is an industry leader taking extra efforts to benefit the environment. When the Iowa Department of Natural Resources reintroduced the Peregrine Falcon to Muscatine, Bosch donated its services to remove all toxic bird perches from the area.
Innovative
Personnel from Bosch Pest Control have often found themselves on the cutting edge of change and have led the industry in pioneering new products like paraffinized rodent bait, pest bird management programs and development of a fumigation chamber with the capacity to hold two semi trailers.
